Cancellation Policy
The customer can choose to cancel an order any time before it’s dispatched. The order cannot be cancelled once it’s out for delivery. However, the customer may choose to reject it at the doorstep.
In case of any cancellation from the seller due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be initiated for prepaid orders.
Addbook reserves the right to accept the cancellation of any order. Addbook also reserves the right to waive off or modify the time window or cancellation fee from time to time.
We reserve the right to cancel your order, in whole or in part, for reasons including product unavailability, unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (force majeure), suspected fraudulent activity, violation of our Terms of Use, or logistical constraints. In all instances of cancellation (by us), you will not be charged for the canceled order. Any payments you have already made will be promptly refunded within 5-7 business days for any cancellations. You can track the status of your refund on the Order Details page/section.
Return policy
we hope you love every purchase with us! However, if you receive a book in damaged condition and/or if the ordered book has missing pages or pages in the wrong sequence or has any variation from the book ordered, you may return it in its original condition. To be eligible, you must notify us within 7 days of delivery, along with an unboxing video and books snapshots.
How to Initiate a Return:
1: Record a clear unboxing video when opening your package, showing the full product contents.
2: If you notice any damage or defects, capture them in the video and also take clear photos.
3: Once the order is delivered, log in to your account on our website using the same email used for purchase.
4: Navigate to your orders and initiate the return request.
5: Share your Order Number, email id, unboxing video, and product photos with us via email info@addbook.in
Our team will review your request. If the claim is found valid, a return pickup will be arranged. You’ll receive approval or rejection updates via email.
Refunds will be processed once the product is received at our warehouse and verified to be unused, undamaged, and in original packaging. If the product does not meet these conditions, the refund may be denied.
Important Notes:
- Return pickups take 3–5 business days, subject to logistics availability.

- All return approvals are at the sole discretion of the company. Products returned that do not match the original order are not eligible for refund.
- Items purchased with a free gift must be returned with the gift included.
- Returns are allowed only once per order. Any deviation from the above process will not be accepted.
- All items must be unused, in original packaging, and not tampered with.
- Return status will be communicated via email within 7 business days of receiving the item.
Refunds
Refunds will be initiated once the returned books are received at our warehouse and confirmed to be unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging. If the returned items fail to meet these conditions, the refund request may be declined.
Refunds will be processed within 3 to 5 business days from the date we receive and verify the returned product(s).
Payment Method & Refund Process:
- Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders:
If your order was placed using the COD option, you will need to email us your bank account details from your registered email address. The refund will be credited directly to the shared bank account. - Prepaid Orders (Credit/Debit Card, Wallets, Net Banking):
For prepaid orders, the refund amount will be credited back to the original payment source used at the time of purchase.
